Update on SoDo

Okay, that didn’t go so bad.

We are now in possession of a lease draft for the SoDo space. The people are really nice, but we had our lawyer look at the lease and make a bunch of changes. Here’s hoping that the people are still really nice after they see the modified lease agreement. Right now we’re just spending lots of money on legal services - that’s the extent of our business activity! Ouchy oochy ooch, but a huge help - and our legal people are really nice too.

So, this is yet another baby step in my journal covering the long-ass road to getting this business off the fuckin’ ground. I have to tell myself I spent four years messing around with all the preliminaries in order to land here. I’ve been doing this so long that I had to track down our insurance agent who’s no longer at the firm she was at when we started this endeavor.

Okay, update accomplished. Sending our revision of the draft to the landlord tomorrow, and then hijinks will ensue.
